HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYONE!!!
On this day, I would like to first give thanks to the Lord above for allowing me to see another Thanksgiving! I am also thankful for life, health, strength and the many blessings that have been bestowed upon me. I am especially grateful for you; my clients and supporters!
This was such a fun week at the salon. While servicing clients, we were discussing Thanksgiving plans, trips and meals. My clients’ age range is wide (which I absolutely love)—the youngest being about 3 years old to my oldest client who is 90 years old! These ladies and gentlemen had me going all week.
Okay, I am going to tell on myself. For the past two years, I used Jiffy Cornbread in my dressing. I did not know that this was such a NO,NO. The ladies let me have it. They teased me so bad. “Tunese that will make it too sweet!” They decided that I needed to learn how to make my own cornbread, from scratch. Needless to say I received a few recipes to try, so I will be home on Wednesday trying to get my dressing right. Thanks Ladies, but I still love Jiffy Cornbread.
It was a great week even though I was the center of all the cooking jokes. It was great to hear about everyone’s plans. Spending time with family and friends seemed to be everyone’s focus. I have realized that it is so important to spend time with those who you care about.
Today, I would like to thank all of you for your support. I have enjoyed everything, thus far and am excited about the future for all of us. We (you and I) are about to do something great!
